tuesday early evening

sitting here at work, not working obviously. listening to nils petter molvaer, on last.fm, eating a kitkat, drinking diet coke, the usual. had to work today, there were people here...

looking forward to show friday, a little nervous. being nervous is funny though...why be nervous? it's silly.

went to death guild last night, feeling ok but a little tired and wired. always good. will I go climbing tonight? I could just read from my darkside astrology book:

Scorpio with Moon in Aquarius (me): dark, powerful, brooding, obsessive, cruel, harsh, and alien...good evening, Lord Vader...

it's nice to know I have explored my dark side enough, I think, to know when it is coming out and *control* it (control is a key word for scorpios...we want it...and the total kind).

Well it's after 5, time to work on my new ING account...

dark phoenix tattoo

My new tattooo, right arm, more or less. More bird of fire qualities, probably. Jean Grey as Dark Phoenix, from the X-Men, good stuff.

Birthdays in November Video and Reading Bash

Please Join Us
Marguerite Harris and Charles Keatts would like to invite you to celebrate our November birthdays in the best possible way!
With art and spoken word!

Please join us at 5:30 PM on Friday November 30th at the Gallery Cafe, 1200 Mason at Washington.

Marguerite will be showing her video work and Charles will be reading from his new novel, Daydream Nation.
We will also do a special collaboration piece/performance.

If enough people come the owner will keep the cafe open late so we can have an open mic with readings and musical performances!

Links for Marguerite:
Marguerite says: "I'm a visual artist. I am inspired by many things, life, nature, the beach, the ocean, listening to the San Francisco poets at the readings and good music."

Charles Keatts has been writing and making visual art for many years and is currently seeking an agent and publisher for his new novel.

Charles has lived in the Bay Area since 2001. His website is www.charleskeatts.com.

We look forward to seeing you there!

There is a cable car stop and museum right there also.
The cafe is open until 7, but if we have a lot of people, the owner will keep it open for us...so bring a friend or two!
